Spring is getting closer.

March 2, 2016

Spring is just around the corner. Every year this season is a reminder of new beginnings, optimism, and excitement. We certainly are feeling that way in the library. We have many exciting plans in the works. Next week, we are hosting Daniel Boone, The First Kentuckian, a performance by The Kentucky Humanites Council Chautauqua Program. The fun starts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 10. The local chapter of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution will provide light refreshments. Please arrive early as seating is limited. Even though spring hasn’t officially arrived, we’ve already started planning for summer. Please check our website and Facebook frequently for programs and opportunities.

Also, don’t forget we are receiving new books every week! We place monthly book orders and are happy to take requests. In the case of older books we often opt for an Interlibrary Loan. However, we love ordering new books requested by our patrons. Please let us know what books you’re interested in. Chances are other patrons will enjoy them too.

As always, thank you for your support.
