What winter blues?
January 12, 2016
Happy New Year! Winter weather has finally arrived, but don’t let the dreary days get you down. December was another dynamite programming month for us, but January is looking to be a worthy contender. We have plenty of activities planned to keep the winter blues at bay. Throughout this month we are offering rag rug making classes at the Blaine Community Center, every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. You’ll be shocked at how easy it is to make these beautiful rugs out of scrap fabric. We’re also offering microwave cooking classes every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. as part of our Tasty Tuesday series. We’ll teach you easy recipes to feed your busy family with the simple use of your microwave. Want to show your competitive side? Joins us for Family Game Night January 21 at 5:00 p.m. We’ll have classic board games along with some newbies as well as fresh popcorn.
These are just a few of the programs we have planned. I encourage you to regularly view our Events Page or like us on Facebook. These are the best resources to keep you up-to-date on library activities. As always, we love to hear ideas from you. Please suggest programs you would like to see implemented to our Program Coordinator, Deanna Farris at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your support of our programs. Our success is not possible without you!
