The library will be closed Thursday November 24 – Saturday November 26, 2016 for Thanksgiving. The library will re-open at 9:00 a.m. Monday, November 28.

Every Tuesday in June the Lawrence County Extension Office is offering a healthy cooking class at the library. The class begins at 1:30 p.m., is free, and will include weekly giveaways.

The Lawrence County Public Library and the Lawrence County Tourism Committee are excited to announce the 2016 Summer Reading Contest. This year the prize will be a “Staycation” package that highlights some of Lawrence County’s recreational activities.
