Board Meeting Change
The regularly scheduled May 2019 board meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the library.
May 9 Closure
The library will close Thursday, May 9, 2019 for interior demolition.
February 14 Closure
The library will close from noon – 1:30 on Thursday, February 14, 2019 for a staff meeting.
January 22 Closure
The library will close Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from noon – 1:30 p.m. for a staff training.
Community Reception Feb. 14
The Lawrence County Public Library will host a community reception to present final renovation and expansion plans. The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. OPN Architects will provide a digital presentation featuring a guided walk-through of the interior and exterior of the building. Light refreshments will be served.
December Board Meeting Change
The Lawrence County Public Library Board of Trustees will hold a special called meeting on Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. This meeting is in lieu of the regularly scheduled December meeting.
Technical Difficulties

Wednesday May 23 Programs Canceled
Wednesday May 23 afternoon programs are cancelled this week due to staff training. This includes DIY, Adult Ed, and Lego Club.
2018 Summer Feeding
Free lunch provided by the library to children ages 18 and under. Lunches are cooked by Dee’s Drive Inn and served Monday – Friday from noon – 1:30 p.m. in the library meeting room.
