Summer feeding at the library begins Monday, May 20, 2024. Outreach meal pickup begins Monday, June 3, 2024.

  • LIBRARY MEAL PICKUP:
    Registration is required for Summer Feeding. Click HERE to complete the registration form for meal pickup at the library. You will only need to complete this form once. After your registration is confirmed by library staff, you must complete a weekly meal order form (below). You may also order meals by calling the library every Friday between 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and speaking with library staff. Call (606) 638-4497 ext. 1003.
  • Click HERE to order your meals weekly for meal pickup at the library. This form must be completed by the Friday prior to the feeding week. You may only order for one week at a time.
    NEW THIS YEAR: In lieu of snack bags, the library is providing weekend meal bags to be picked up on Fridays to supplement feeding throughout the weekend. You must indicate on the order form (link above) if you wish to receive weekend bags.
  • Rules on registration and order forms have been set up according to USDA guidelines. All meals will be non-congregate – meaning the meals must be taken out of the building and cannot be eaten on site at the library. If you live outside of Lawrence County, KY, you may be required to provide proof of income to receive meals.
  • Failure to pickup ordered meals may result in suspension of further services.

  • OUTREACH MEAL PICKUP:
    Registration is required for Outreach Meal Bags. These are week long (7 days) food bags that will available for weekly pickup at four (4) sites throughout Lawrence County. Click HERE to complete the registration form for outreach meal pickup. You will only need to complete this form once. After your registration is confirmed by library staff, you must complete a weekly meal order form (below). You may also order meals by calling the library every Friday between 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and speak with the Outreach Coordinator, Tammy Lemaster, to order pickup meals. Call (606) 638-4497 ext. 1006.
  • Weekly outreach meal bags will be available for pickup at the following sites:
    Monday – Chapman Park
    Tuesday – Fallsburg Community Center
    Wednesday – Lowmansville Valero
    Thursday- Blaine Community Center
    All pick up times are 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
  • Click HERE to order your meals weekly for meal pickup at one of the library’s outreach meal pickup sites. (*If you register for the weekly Outreach bags, you may still pick hot meals from the library, but you will not be eligible for the weekend bags).

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Online Form (AD-3027) found online at How to file a Complaint​, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone numbe​​r, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
